Visited the Oakey RSL to take my dear father in law for what will probably be his last trip out and his last non-hospital meal. My partner and sister in law accompanied their elderly and sick dad from the local aged care home to Oakey to try and give their dad a ‘last hurrah’. They had a wonderful afternoon. All the staff were warm and friendly and accommodated them and all their special needs to have a very successful last trip out for their dad. Meals were delicious (FIL are every last bite full) and pleasant environment to cheer up their dad and make some lasting memories together. They weren’t expecting a 5 star establishment but got 5 star service, fresh yummy meals and a great place to spend time with their dad. Thanks Oakey RSL-you really helped them out with a memory to last a life time.
